Pacific Economic Survey

PiPP facilitated a number of round table discussions to accompany the launch of the Pacific Economic Survey 2008 in both Vanuatu and Solomon Islands and organized ongoing media engagements on the survey themes.

The Pacific Economic Survey 2008 looks at recent growth performance in the Pacific region, focusing on progress made in connecting the Pacific to the rest of the world, and also within the region, through improved telecommunications, aviation and shipping services.

PiPP board members, Odo Tevi and Afamasaga Toleafoa were part of the project’s Steering Committee of leading regional figures from the Pacific.
