PiPP is a founding member of the ADB–Asian Think Tanks Network which is an informal group of think tanks working on the areas of sustainable economic growth and inclusive development in the Asia-Pacific region.
The ANZ Bank of Vanuatu donates 50,000VT towards the Vanuatu team’s travelling costs to compete in the inaugural Melanesian Schools Debates Competition, jointly hosted by the Pacific Institute of Public Policy and the PNG’s Institute of Business Studies.
The Vanuatu School Debate Competition provided an outreach to the next generation of thinkers to stimulate key conversations relevant to current policy issues affecting the Pacific region.
PiPP and APCSS co-hosted over 48 security practitioners and experts from 21 nations and territories and six regional organisations to examine the effectiveness of regional security cooperation and architecture.
PiPP has a strategic partnership with the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, a U.S. Department of Defense institute based in Honolulu. In 2014 we co-hosted a conference on Advancing Pacific Islands Regional Security Cooperation in Port Vila.
A Bipartisan Panel of six elected parliamentary representatives, including the Vanuatu Prime Minister were brought together to further conversations around service delivery structures based on some of Vanuatu’s established National Priorities.
