The 2012 Pacific Debate took place on the sidelines of the ACP/EU meeting in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Leading strategic thinkers from across the Pacific considered whether neutrality was a suitable response for Pacific nations in light of the global shift in geopolitical focus into the Pacific.

This year’s panel consisted of Congressman Eni Faleomavaega (American Samoa), Senator Peter Christian (FSM), Major General (ret’d) Jerry Singirok (PNG) and Mr Kaliopate Tavola (Fiji).

The debate was recorded and will soon be available as a one-hour television event. Watch this space for updates concerning broadcast times and online viewing options.
